It seems that there is always a fiesta going on somewhere and the truth is that there is. From the `festival de los patios` in Cordoba to the flamenco festival in Zambra, the summer nights especially are full of activity.

I have listed some web sites that should help you find out what is going on around Andalucia throughout the year but if you would like some help in organising days out please do not hesitate to mail me.

SEVILLE www.seville.world-guides.com/events.html
GRANADA www.granadatur.com/en/culture/festivities/
CORDOBA www.turismodecordoba.org/fiestas-y-eventos.cfm

In Iznajar itself the main fiestas are:
Semana Santa (Easter week)
San Marcos (everyone camps by the lake)
25 de Abril
Feria Chica (funfare comes to Iznajar)
del 15 al 17 de Junio
Feria Real (procession of the virgin Mary)
del 7 al 11 de Septiembre

Throughout July and August there is an open air bar at the top of the village of Iznajar with a cinema showing films for the children every thursday. With this and all fiestas be prepared to stay up very late as things usually only start at around 10pm at the earliest.

And if you prefer to stay in rather than go out, we can organise flamenco nights at Cortijo Andalus. We know some great musicians and dancers who are happy to come to play for our guests.
