Cortijo Andalus is perfectly located for taking in all the major sites of Andalucia. Granada and the Alhambra, Cordoba and the Mezquita and Malaga and the coast are all just under an hours` drive away and are very easy to get to.
Cortijo Andalus lies between the sleepy and beautiful mountain-top village of Iznajar and the huge lake that surrounds it and the olive farming village of Rute. Both have banks, restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
Cortijo Andalus is just an hours` drive inland from malaga airport. From the airport follow the signs for Malaga and very soon you will see signs for Granada. Follow the signs for Granada and within around half an hour you will be on the A92 direction Granada driving through some breathtaking andalucian countryside. Take the turnoff marked A333 SALINAS and follow the road to Salinas. At the T junction turn left following the signs for IZNAJAR. Another 20 minutes drive down the mountain on the A333 and you will pass the village of Iznajar on your right. Keep driving now towards RUTE and 6km after leaving Iznajar you will see a sign on your right for SOLERCHE. Take this right and keep to the right when the road forks after around 200m. You will pass 2 houses on your right and after another 100m you will see CORTIJO ANDALUS on your right.
