Cortijo Andalus is surrounded by olive groves and lies between Iznajar and Rute in the aldea of Solerche. The village of Iznajar itself is situated on top of a huge rocky outcropping overlooking the Embalse de Iznájar, the largest lake in the whole of Andalucía, which is frequented throughout the summer as a beach. The countryside provides the perfect backdrop to beautiful walks and cycling tours while the best way to end the day is with a cold beer and tapas watching the sun go down over the lake.
